Make Tough Choices

New York State is not living within its means. Due to the culture of spending in Albany, the state faces a $9 billion deficit. No one in Albany has made any tough choices or decisions for decades. Hard working families across New York are making tough choices in order to live within their means – our leaders in Albany should be doing the very same thing. As Comptroller, I am prepared to make the tough choices necessary to get New York’s fiscal house in order.
