The state of New York is marching toward insolvency because our elected leaders in Albany continue to ratchet up spending to placate special interests. New Yorkers bear the highest state and local tax burden in the nation. Not to mention, the other growing problems New York faces if we don't act now.

First of all, you know just how badly NY needs to turn around and do so quickly. NY is going downhill fast. Secondly, I think you should win the position of Comptroller to help turn things around
I agree with the first post, I am confident that you will be able to improve life for us in New York.
It is unfair that New Yorkers have the highest state and local tax burden! I’m sure you will be able to help us out and be the change we need to fix these problems.
