Happy Labor Day! Hope you’re enjoying a long weekend with family and friends.
Harry’s campaign is focused on fixing the failed economic policies of Albany career politicians that have left so many unemployed on Labor Day this year. Please don’t forget this message when you vote on November 2nd!

Unelected New York State Comptroller Tom DiNapoli and other career Albany politicians have been hiding -- and making worse -- an enormous underfunding of the New York State Pension Fund that, if left unchecked, will require massive tax increases in the coming years. New York State leaders must adhere to three bedrock principles in addressing the State's shortfall:
1. The true extent of our shortfall must be made clear through honest accounting.
2. New Yorkers cannot afford additional taxes, so increased taxes cannot be a part of any solution.
3. The promises already made to New York's government workers, retirees and their beneficiaries must be provided for in full.

The secretive borrowing scheme of unelected state Comptroller Tom DiNapoli authorizes the state to borrow money from the state pension fund to make constitutionally required payments to that very same fund, with interest. The plan, which was devised to hide the massive under-performance of the pension fund relative to its 8% target return, will lead to higher property taxes everywhere in the state.
Harry, a Harvard graduate, scrutinized the problems and sees much bigger problems. To see just how devastating this problem is, take a look at Harry's detailed report by clicking here.
