Wilson Submits July Campaign Finance Filing

New York-July 13...New York State Comptroller candidate Harry J. Wilson (R-C-I) today filed his campaign finance disclosure statement with the New York State Board of Elections for the period between January 12, 2010 and July 11, 2010, as required by law, Mr. Wilson's campaign announced.
The filing, which was submitted early, shows that Mr. Wilson, as of July 11, 2010:
· Had $3,397,592.36 in total receipts for this reporting period;
· Had $633,153.24 in expenses this reporting period;
· Raised $1,139,169.74 this reporting period;
· Loaned his campaign $2,253,000.00, and
· Has $2,764,439.12 cash on hand.

"We are very pleased with where we are in this campaign," said Wilson campaign manager Chapin Fay. "We began fundraising in earnest just eight weeks ago, and the response has been strong. Harry Wilson is better qualified for this office than his opponent, and with this type of support, we are confident that we will be able to let voters know that statewide well in time for the November election."
